This demonstration shows how the pogo-stick rotates when certain keys are pressed:
- No Key Pressed -> 90 degrees
- A -> 30 degrees
- Q -> 60 degrees
- W or S -> 90 degrees
- E -> 120 degrees
- D -> 150 degrees
Pressing a combination of keys rotates it to the average angle.
I made the model using the free 3D Builder app that comes with Windows 10.
There is a curious bug where the pogo-stick rotates slowly to begin with, then speeds up as time progresses. I have since fixed this bug.
I did consider rotating the camera with the pogo-stick to make the game more interesting, but found this was too disorientating, perhaps it could be a de-buff for the player to avoid.
